We are so excited for the month of December as we have lots of events planned for you guys! So bear with me as I get through them all!

Scavenger Hunt
The witches from Halloween were successfully driven off and Lumeria was restored! We appreciate all of your help! Rumour has it though that a new enemy force has arrived and we are in need of our top notch investigators once more! This is the letter we received from the front lines:
"Tatsel,
Heat Miser and Snow Miser are at it again! We have it under control, but the damage has already been done. We've counted thirty magical injuries spread throughout the realm. Send reinforcements!"
Well that can't be good. Are you up to the task of finding the thirty (30) magical damages around Lumeria so that we can restore them?
First Prize: 500 Donator Points | Congratulations Charlene!

Third Prize: 150 Donator Points | Congratulations Taylor!
The rest of city council is already in the middle of the war and have no clue where they are, but as Lyrik was in charge of assessing the damage she might be able to point you in the right direction. You're limited to two hints and here's your first!
"I kept a secret, but I'm letting you know. There is the secret word that gets you a little prize (50 Donator Points) just for finding it, but it doesn't count towards the other thirty! No hint for this one, you gotta find it all on your own!"

Trivia
Back due to popular demand, there will be not one... Not two... Not even three... But four trivia nights throughout the month of December! You requested, we are delivering so mark your calendars for the following dates:
December 8th at 12:00 PM EST - Classic Holiday Trivia
December 15th at 3:00 PM EST - Holiday Movies
December 20th at 8:00 PM EST - Finish the Lyrics
December 28th at 10:00 PM EST - Bonus Round!
Prizes for trivia will be as follows:
First Place: 500 Gems
Second Place: 200 Gems
Third Place: 15,000 Gold
There will also be a prize of 500 Donator Points to the person with the overall highest score between all four! So it benefits to attend as many as you can!
Please understand that these dates and times may change depending on the availability of staff and that they have been spread out to try and make trivia available to everyone.

Post a picture of your holiday decorations to the "Events" channel in the RoD Discord server located under EVENTS AND CHALLENGES between December 1st and December 20th to be entered. Voting will open on December 21st for your favourites!

Keeping Tradition and Expanding the Family
On the menu we have the Costume Shop that we are bringing back for the month of December! Head on down the Festive Costume Shop to pick up something fun to wear to Lumeria's dinner table!
While we are not having a holiday title contest, anyone who does sport their holiday sweater to the feast will be awarded a special medal!
We've also cooked up some new dishes for you all to continue the festivities!
New pokes are available to use! If it's Christmas, Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa, send someone well wishes with our Season's Greetings poke to spread some holiday cheer! Has someone found themselves on the Naughty or Nice list? Let them know by sending either a gift or a lump of coal!
We've not forgotten about our furry friends this holiday season! Cait's Pet Mart has partnered with a rescue agency to take on some unique creatures looking for a new home! Will you adopt a Jingle Bell Reindeer, the Giraffe of Unity, or a Llamakkah Llama?! Get them while they last! Come the New Year they'll all have found new home!

Roleplay Event
The sound of sirens can be heard throughout the realm in warning that an attack is imminent! The sharp tones bounce off buildings, echo through the nearby forests of Brittia, haunt the grounds of Thule, Diabolous, and Suddene, and can be heard as far as the floating isles of Mictlan, the territories of Parime and Mareikos. The crackling of speakers interrupts the alarms before the majestic voice of our King Tatsel breaks through.
"This is a public service announcement! A rift has torn above the city of Lumeria!"
There is a tremor that you have picked up in his words that draws you gaze skywards where a red and green glow can be seen behind the constant cloud cover. The clouds begin to shift and reveal the strange gash that has appeared. It blankets the world below in this glow.
"The demon known only as Krampus has been summoned that threatens us all! His goal, to destroy Lumeria as we know it. His minions have already infiltrated the city. This is a call to arms!"
The fate of the realm is in your hands. Will you answer the call to arms and fight against the army of dark elves, or do you side with the demon Krampus?
* The scenario has been dealt. The roleplay event takes place over the whole site. We appreciate those that do participate, but understand not everyone will. *
For those that do participate in the site wide roleplay will be awarded a "Santa's Little Helper" medal or a "Krampus" medal. Since it is difficult to monitor, we will base this on the honor system that should you participate that you petition in which side you have chosen.
